Passport online and picture at walgreens?

I need a passport ASAP and I was wondering if it is allowed that I get my picture taken at walgreens and order an expedited passport online? How do I combine them? I don't know the rules for passports at all, please help!

1. The picture at Walgreens is no problem. Run to the Post Office with ALL your documentation and expedite it(expensive) If you need it sooner that a couple of weeks you need to contact one of the regional agencies. Contact info is on the State Dept web site. Direct from the State Dept web site: You must apply in person if: You are applying for your first U.S. passport or You are under age 16 or Your previous U.S. passport was issued when you were under age 16 or Your previous U.S. passport was lost, stolen, or damaged or Your previous U.S. passport was issued more than 15 years ago or Your name has changed since your U.S. passport was issued and you are unable to legally document your name change NEED A U.S. PASSPORT IMMEDIATELY? You should make an appointment to be seen at a Regional Passport Agency only if: The U.S. passport is needed in less than 2 weeks for international travel The U.S. passport is needed within 4 weeks to obtain a foreign visa
2. That's exactly what I did. Just send your check, pictures, and expired passport (if applicable) priority mail.
