How do I get my passport photo at Walgreens? Might be a dumb question, but do I have to take a photo I already have for them to make the 2x2 passport photos, or do they take the picture right there at Walgreens for me?

Do all Walgreens pharmacy's do passport photos? Also do you get them right then and there or do you have to wait too

Is it cheaper to get your photo done for your passport at somewhere like Walgreens rather than the Post Office? I'm sorry if this is a dumb question, but I just wondered since Walgreen's and other places advertise passport photos. Or do people just get updated photos at places like Walgreen's?

What do I do with a passport letter saying that I have to get new photos because orginals werent centered? This is the 2nd time my passport photos have been rejected. I applied for my passport about a month ago. Initially, I had my photos done at Walgreens. Then I went to a USPS sponsored passport fair at Chicago Police headquarters. They said photos werent good cause my eye color wasnt showing. $15 for new photos, on top of $100 plus the cost of walgreens photos. I just got the letter today. Im frustrated. Where to have a GOOD passport photo taken? I need to have a good (at least decent!!) passport photo. So far I've only tried Fed-Ex, but their photos always look like I have a spotlight on my cheeks and forehead! Where in Chicago can you get a "biometric" passport photo taken? We need help because a regular photo wont do!? My friend is Polish and her passport expired last week. She needs to get over to Poland as soon as possible, but she has been informed that she need a "biometric" photo not just a regular passport photo from like walgreens or a place similar. Where? Printing passport size photo using canon powershot G9? I took the picture with my Canon Power shot G9 camera and used Adobe photo shop trial version to crop the picture to resize it to 3.5 cms X 3.5 cms, but when I printed it at walgreens I got the picture in 3 cms X 3 cms size. Also I tried it in my printer, it comes in different sizes. Has anybody got a solution for this? Please advise.

If your printed your own passport photo...? what type of paper did you use? I have the photos measured to the exact spec they require and am able to print them on a photo program I have. I just need to know what type paper as far as withstanding the HEAT as is required. Yes, I know Walgreens or Kinkos or even the Post Office will take photos for me but they are dreadful- worse than a state DL photo!

walgreens employees over worked? I normaly go into several walgreens around the country when i travel on business and i see people there are over worked. I see the photo specialists, taking passport pictures, deveolping film,stocking shelves, opening the bathrooms with codes for shoppers, cashiers expected to stock shelves and run to counters when customers are there, managers answering all sorts of questions from customers, never taking breaks and all that. Ive always wondered why they dont hire more workers. Silly its the profits i know, but this is slavery in a new dimension. My idea is that people should probably go back to school so they dont have to do this.Walgreens is good for teenagers, but anyone over 21 still working as a cashier full time and not in school isnt really thinking about going far.

Passport Picture? So I'm going to Spain for spring break of 09, its a spanish class high school trip. I'm going to get my passport photo taken today, and I have no idea what to do. is possessing a fake press pass illegal? is possessing a fake press pass illegal? if it has the name of a real newspaper/agency? if the name on the pass isn't yours? if you use the pass to gain entry to an event? my friend works for the AP, and i scanned his press pass (with his permission). i took out all identifying info, put in a fake name, and printed it up nicely. then i glued on a passport photo from walgreens, laminated it, and attached a neck lanyard. i even "aged" it a little so it looks like i've had it for a while. all in all, it looks awesome...reeeally awesome! combined with a vest, and the right attitude, i think this pass could definitely get me into some cool shooting situations. i'm considering making another with my real name, since my biggest concern is the legality of using a false name. any help?? thanks, wiley snap p.s. i'm not looking for any moral guidance here. please limit replies to legal issues.

customers please stop going to the photo lab to purchase your groceries? Hi all, i work at walgreens as a photo specialist here in ohio, city will remain anonymous. Anyways in the 1 hour photo lab we have to get the customers orders done under an hour or we get in trouble for having so many late alerts or customer complaints and we have to becareful with film orders making sure orders don't get mixed up while at the same time taking passport photos or filling ink cartridges. Everytime i'm trying to get caught up on orders while running around crazy multi-tasking i have to stop what i'm doing because customers come up to my counter wanting me to ring up their milk, cart full of misc. items or since my lab is right by the snack station we have where you can get hot coffee or fountain sodas, i get them bringing up their dripping (because they filled the soda and ice too high) sodas on my counter where people lay their photos to look at them , me rushing to wipe the counters so the others photos don't get wet or sticky. I ask the customers if their picking up photos they say " no just checking out my stuff " i glance over at the "real" check out counter to notice noone over their, nor , is there anyone at the cosmetics counter. Their response is your counter was closer, when i feel like saying "well you have to walk by the actual checkout counter to leave the store why not just go there! Meanwhile i can't process my film orders and have to witness customers who are using the kiosk machine get annoyed because i can't help them with their picture order because i have a huge line full of people buying eggs, toys and makeup. I know this isn't a huge epidemic really, i'm just venting. I just like getting my orders done fast as i promise to my customers and hate when they get mad for orders being late when it wasn't my fault, i take their photos (memories) seriously. Hate to see a picture get ruined because i had to stop to ring up milk. I know i'm not dealing with an actual dark room where lights have to be off like professional labs, but still we're messing with chemicals and peoples wedding, child births, funeral pictures here please take your sticky drinks elsewhere. I know i'll get alot of negative response here, people saying quit complaining etc. Just take this into consideration the next time you drop off film or send through the internet, that you hope someone in the lab is making sure his full attention is placed on making sure your priceless photos are handled with care and to know your wedding photos didn't get ruined because a customer spilled soda on counter. If you are picking up photos while buying such items ,i don't mind at all as long as there is no sticky mess lol because i can't get into trouble for a late order while servicing and actual photo customer. I feel much better now. Sorry in advance if i annoyed anyone i really do like my job. I just got off of work and got chewed out by 4 customers in a row for this exact reason and it's still a little fresh , Thank you. Uh Marley, that phrase is highly overused. I'm but my "photo" customers should come first no matter what , their paying for a service and expect their photos to be on time without out errors. Hmm milk or memories u decide. I still give the non "photo" customers great customer service that's why i'm on here stating my frustrations instead of out on them thank you! Where can I get a 1.5 x 1.5 photo printed? I need a 1.5 x 1.5 picture of myself for an interview. Now I do not know why in the world they want something smaller than a standard passport photo. This is frustrating me as I have tried Walgreens, Kinkos, resizing them on my computer to no avail. Do studios print custom sized photos? Help! When I try resizing photos in my computer, the programs I use won't let me resize both width and height at the same number. For example, in one of the programs when I would input 1.5 for width, a number for height would be determined. If I changed the number for height, the width number would change as well. Can you recommend any programs which would allow me to custom resize my photos without it predetermining the sizes?

Im getting a passport...? so im getting my picture taken for the second time!! the last one they said wasnt good because my head was cut off a little and it was way to big. Russian visa picture question? Hi-for my application for a Russian visa I need a passport like photo, but it is actually smaller than an American passport photo (which is 2"x2")...this is something like 1/38"x1/34" - any idea on how/where I can get a specialty size picture like this? Walgreens, Kinkos etc. can't do it, they only do the 2x2 size.
