Passport Photo Requirements UK? I recently got two passport-sized photos done to submit with a passport application (UK). It came on one piece of paper, but I cut it so it was in two. I've since lost one of the photos. As I need two for the passport application, I scanned the original into my computer and printed another of the same size. This new photo isn't of as high quality, though - but, as only one photo is needed for the actual passport, and they're identical in image, do you think they'll accept it? The second picture isn't of bad quality.
UK Passport Photo Requirements? I got a passport photo done a week or so ago. I got two identical photos, on one piece of paper. I've since lost one of them. As I need two photos, I scanned the original photo and printed off another of the same size. However, the quality of the second one isn't as high as the first. I know the photos have to be identical - is this just the image, or the quality of them, too? You only use one on your actual passport.
Uk passport photo requirements? Due to getting a visa, i require lots of copies of a passport photo for i.d cards and whatnot. My actual passport one was done a few years back, so i need to retake new ones this time. I'm hoping to do them from home on my PC printer, and have found the required size, but i have questions: Will dyed hair be accepted? How about makeup? When would be the best time of day to take them? (my experience of photos taken indoors..they usually have too much flash, or are too dark, etc) Is the glossy, thicker photo paper acceptable to use? (photo quality paper) And can the pics be altered in photoshop after taken? (getting rid of red eye etc) Thanks! Also, any tips from people who have had year visa's on packing? how much to take with you etc?? I'm thinking it would be best to pay the airline for extra baggage allowance.
UK Passport photo requirements (mainly hair)? I have to renew my passport soon before my holiday in August, but I can't seem to find anything that explains how your hair should be in the photo (I'm a girl). My last one was done when I was about 12/13 or something, and tbh I really didn't care about my hair then, so it's the whole tucked-behind-ears horribleness. Thankfully I happened to decide a few months ago that I wanted to grow out my straight-across fringe that I've had for the past 3 years, so hopefully I won't be told that my face is too covered or something 'cause it's growing now. But still, my question is, will it matter that my fringe still covers part of my face? It seems ridiculous to force people to clip it back or whatever when it's not covering the eyes or anything, so will it be alright as it is? Also, does the hair-behind-ears thing still apply? It's reeeeally not a good look >.< Anyway, thanks to you if you can help.
A question regarding passport photo requirements please? Well i'm tryin to apply for a visa, a travel document in particular. and the visa office requires applicants to have 2 passport-sized photos with THE DATE OF BIRTH AND THE NAME CLEARLY PRINTED ON THE BACK OF EACH PHOTO. I was just wondering if i can just hand write them on the back of the photos for i could not find a place to do that kind of service. Is it that they want everything formal or they're trying to distinguish one from the other since they get too many applications? should I use those special black imprints photo- studios do? Thanks

why does the DMV need a passport size photo of me for my license? on the requirements for obtaining a CT drivers license, it states that i need to bring a passport size photo of myself... is this going to be my drivers license picture? or is this for their database for some other purpose. i was going to go to CVS and have them do it professionally or can it be informal. as long as it' has no dark glasses or headwear. i have all the other requirements but they should clarify this one a little more on their website.
Can I take my own passport photo? All of the requirements are for photographers and are very simple that I can meet on my own with my cameras and can produce a picture that would meet all of the requirements. If I am allowed to, can I just have them printed from a website that does photo printing like Kodak or something? (to the right size) And then bring the picture to the post office when I renew my passport?
What is the real photo background requirement for renewing Philippine passports? I came to DFA Clark, Pampanga to have my passport renewed with 3 passport size photos with royal blue background last September 13, 2007. My application form was given back to me with the remark "change photo". The info person told me that the required background is white. Then why did the news say that those renewing their passports must bring photos with royal blue background?
Where do I get a "passport-style" photo taken? I am applying to college and one of the requirements in the application is to submit two "passport"style" photos. I think they will be used for my student I.D. So I live in Hawaii, on the Big Island, and am looking for a place around Hilo to get this done. Are US Passport photos laminated or scanned? My 10 year old passport has the physical photo laminated into the passport. I seem to remember seeing a recent passport and the photo was scanned and printed in the passport itself. I only ask because inkjet photos are not really suitable for laminating but they should be fine for scanning. Please assume I already understand the composition and format requirements for a passport photo.
Photo for Passport in the UK? I am renewing my UK passport. A friend has told me we can no longer use the old photo booths to get photos for this purpose, she says they don't meet government requirements. Do i really have to find someone to take the photo professionally?
What are the NEW Mexico entry requirements by air? Hi, Does anyone know the CORRECT new law for what is needed to enter Mexico by air??? Is anybody planning a trip there soon and knows the answer? I have heard that a passport is needed for everybody who tries to enter Mexico as of Jan 23, 2007. Is that true? Because according to some web sites, like travel.state.gov here what is says: Passport, OR proof of citizenship (such as original birth certificate or naturalization certificate) and photo ID. I know about the new passport requirement when entering or re-entering US, but what about Mexico? Please help!
Visa application- photo size demands!? hi, they said the photo needs to be: Photos must measure 50 mm. The applicant's head (measured from top of the hair to the bottom of the chin) must measure 25 mm to 33 mm. The applicant's eye level must be 28 mm to 35 mm from the bottom of the photo. Photos must be stapled to the DS-156 application form. The staples cannot touch the applicant's face. Is that a normal passport photo requirement?
What are the requirements for a passport? My mom's coworker is getting married in Cancun in 120 days and she wants my older sister and me to be in the wedding party. I know the basics of a passport; I know it takes like 6-8 weeks to get one, but that's all I know. Google didn't help much at all, so I need to know what I can do in a passport photo. I read that you can only close your mouth and keep it in a neutral position, and my neutral position is a small smile. I also planned on wearing my natural curly hair down (it comes an inch or two below my shoulders) with a pretty headband and small diamond earrings. I would wear only concealer and some clear gloss. Is this okay to do? Also, I need to know if I can take my own passport picture or if my family has to go somewhere and get it taken. Thank you, and any additional info will be greatly appreciated :) I'm 15 btw, so I seriously want to know about this, and please, no stupid answers!
Passport photos from places other than the post office? Are the passport photos from places like Walgreen's or CVS usually good enough to meet the U.S government requirements? Taking them at the post office would guarantee the photos would be fine, but it is pretty expensive if you want to get 8 photos! What place is usually the cheapest?
Can you enter another country from America by sea without a passport? I'm a class officer, and a cruise is being considered for our senior trip. We almost scratched out a cruise when we heard we needed a passport, but I just spoke to Carnival representative, and they said all we would need is a photo ID and/or birth certificate. She said that passport requirement doesn't go in to effect until June. Can anyone confirm this? Internet sources would be really helpful! They would help convince my other officers it's the truth.

Do you need a passport to travel from Los Angeles to mexico? This what I found: CRUISE TRAVEL The Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative (WHTI) Passport Requirements became effective June 1, 2009, for land and sea borders. While the WHTI requires a valid passport for land and sea travel, a final ruling was issued allowing leniency for “closed-loop” cruises, i.e., sailings that both originate and terminate in the same U.S. port. Recent guidance received from the Department of Homeland Security indicates the documentary requirements under WHTI for “closed loop” cruises are not limited to cruises that travel only to contiguous territories or adjacent islands. This means U.S. citizens calling on ports in Honduras, Panama, Costa Rica and Belize will also be exempt from the passport requirement. U.S. citizens taking “closed-loop” cruises are not required to have a passport, but will need proof of citizenship such as an original or certified copy of a birth certificate, a certificate of naturalization, a passport card, an enhanced driver’s license (EDL) as well as a government-issued photo ID. Children are also required to bring proof of citizenship, and if 16 and over, a photo ID is also required. Canadian and Bermudian citizens are required to have a passport for air, land and sea travel, including all Carnival cruises. Although a passport is not required for U.S. citizens taking “closed loop” cruises, we strongly recommend all guests travel with a passport (valid for at least six months beyond completion of travel). Having a passport will enable guests to fly from the U.S. to a foreign port in the event they miss their scheduled embarkation or to fly back to the U.S. if they need to disembark the ship mid-cruise due to an emergency. If a cruise begins and ends in different U.S. ports or begins and ends in a foreign port (such as our Alaska cruises and Hawaii cruises) a valid passport or other recognized WHTI-compliant document is required. A valid passport is required if you are traveling on any of our Europe cruises. For more information, a complete list of WHTI-compliant documents or to obtain a passport application, visit www.travel.state.gov U.S. Alien Residents need a valid Alien Resident Card, Non-U.S. citizens need a valid passport and a valid, unexpired U.S. Multiple Re-entry Visa, if applicable.
What does a valid photo id mean? Except for my driver's license, what else can i give that would satisfy the requirements of a "valid photo id"? how bout a passport? Does valid photo id mean Photo, name AND address? or just name and photo? can it be a company id or a state-issued id?
Do I need a passport for a cruise from Tampa, to Mexico, then back to Tampa? This is under FAQ on the carnival website: The Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative (WHTI) Passport Requirements became effective June 1, 2009, for land and sea borders. While the WHTI requires a valid passport for land and sea travel, a final ruling was issued allowing leniency for “closed-loop” cruises, i.e., sailings that both originate and terminate in the same U.S. port. U.S. citizens taking “closed-loop” cruises are not required to have a passport, but will need proof of citizenship such as an original or certified copy of a birth certificate, a certificate of naturalization, a passport card, an enhanced driver’s license (EDL) as well as a government-issued photo ID. So, is my cruise considered a "closed-loop" cruise? It leave in February and I don't think I'll have time to get a passport.
Licence Registration Requirements? First off, I live in Connecticut. I looked at my state DMV site and found the list of requirements. I have almost all of my needed items except for a passport size photo. Do I need the photo or should my current ID suffice? Also since I have enlisted in the military, could the DMV speed up my registration process so that I do not have to wait as long for my test?
How do I change the background color of a passport picture in photoshop cs4.? I need to change the background color of a passport picture for a client from blue to grey or cream to meet the passport requirements. I used various methods to do this in photoshoip but end up with a color bleed of blue around the edges and certain parts of the face and fore head from origional blue background. How do I do this and also what dimensions should I save it to. Getting the image from a scanned picture that I have highlighted and pasted on a new photoshop photo document . Is this right method ? Any help appreciated.
How likely for Canadian to make it over US/CA border without Passport these days? As I understand it, as of June, Passports are now required to cross the USA/Canadian border? But, say I don't have a mt Canadian passport just yet... Who thinks I might still have a chance of being allowed over? Funny thing is, I'm submitting my Passport application this week, and thus, I currently have my Birth Certificate on hand, signed and dated (by guarantor) photo and copies of supporting documents. Any chance my "passport application" items might help in getting across? Basically what I'm asking is, is there any "grace period" to the passport requirement?
My 11 year old is on my passport - is that okay for entry to Spain? According to airline no photo ID required for my 11 year old if registered as child on my passport - hubbie says that's the airline but is it okay with Spanish Customs? I say airline is stating Customs requirements of country entering. Has anyone else gotten through Customs with child on their passport? Can't find his original birth cert. so problem in getting his own passport on time for travel. Ta for first 2 answers - not British passport - Irish. Prob in replacing lost birth cert is it's from New York and will take until holiday long over to obtain replacement cert. Thanks Answer 3 but USA require my passport to issue replacement birth cert - not something I am willing to mail in view of 2-year-very-unwieldy-process in gaining Alien registration. If you think any paperwork procedure in US can be speedy you must be a privileged citizen or living on another planet (not intended as an insult)

What are the requirements in applying for the MVV from the Dutch Embassy here in the Philippines? An employer in the Netherlands already got a letter from IND saying that the request for advise on the MVV for me has been approved. I am asked to make an appointment with the embassy to apply for the MVV and told to fill out the form used when applying for the Schengen Visa. Schengen Visa application demands a lot of requirements. When I called the Embassy, the person I talked to didn't seem to be sure about this, I was told I can only present my passport, pass photo and Travel Insurance covering up to 30,000 euros good for 90 days. Anyone here who had been in the same situation?

A question about the new Philippine renewal passport I.D. picture requirement? A question about the new Philippine renewal passport I.D. picture requirement Excerpt from http://passport.com.ph/app/requirements/renewal.php Three (3) colored photos of the applicant taken against a royal blue background & no shadow. Applicant should be in decent attire with collar & sleeves and in dark-colored shirt. Photo must be studio taken & of good quality, and must have been taken within the last six (6) months. My question is: 1.can i wear a dark-blue polo with a black t-shirt which serves as my undershirt? 2. would this kind of attire be accepted by the DFA? Note: im a male Filipino in early 20's. 3. Also is it safe if i ask an assistance from Travel Agency to process my Renewal passport since in the DFA Cebu City branch there is a long line of applicants? 4. would this be safe? Thanks :)

US Passport picture question? Is it true that you're not suppose to smile on your US passport picture? And is it true that you also have to show your ears (if you have long hair you have to tuck it behind your ears) on your pic? Because I read the picture requirements on our US Embassy's website (I live in the Philippines) and there's nothing about those rules. But photo studios here says you have to do those.
"normal street attire" means? I am reading the photo requirements for U.S. passports, since my native language is not English, could anyone please explain in simpler terms what "normal street attire" means? "Photographs should be taken in normal street attire, without a hat." Thank you for your time.
Why does USCIS requires a Government issued ID to an interview? My husband has an immigration appointment for an adjustment of status. But to even enter the building he has to show a Governmen-issued photo ID. He doesn't have one if he had one we wouldn't need such interview. Do any of you know if there is a way to waive this requirement? or if a passport from his country will help?
